All Controllers, AZ and AZ&EL or ELare able to emulate other rotors:
The AZ controller is able to emulate rotator Yeasu, Hygen and Orion.
The AZ&EL controller and tehe EL controller is able to emulate Yeasu rotor.
Selection of simulation is available in SETUP option,
for the AZ controller: O - Orion, H – Hygen, 4 (Y) – Yeasu, 5(S) – Spid.
For the AZ&EL controller SP means Spid, 4A(YA) – Yeasu.
Unfortunatelly protocols for control of single and double rotors are different, because of that the AZ controller can be controlled from shortvave programs, working in azimuth (e.g. Logger or DX4Win)
Baudrate 1200 N1, no parity bit.
Rotors AZ&EL and EL controller can be controlled from satelite programs, e.g. Orion, MoonSkater, Trx.
Baudrate 600 N1, no parity bit.
It is important because of differences in protocoles.
Controllers can be also controlled from USB-RS-232 converter. |
