The EA4TX RelayBox-5 (RB-5) is a product that is targeted towards the remote control of your radio station.
The unit includes 5 relays and can manage each one 250V/16A.
Through these 5 relays you can turn On/off any device that you remotely connected, like turning a Transceiver, Linear Amplifier, Antenna rotor, etc. Or even remotely switch antennas.
In case of a power failure, the relays return to their previous state set.
In addition to the remote control, the buttons on the control unit allows you to enable/disable any of the relays manually.
Its 2×16 character display indicates the status of each of the relays 5.
The software included with the product is the RBM and some of its functionalities are:
You can label the name of each relay; it is always preferable to call each relay for the use is to be made of it, to call it as R1, R2, … R5.
It allows you to automate actions through memories or presets, so that a simple action you can trigger one or more relays changes.
Remark: There are two ways to remotely control the RB-5:
#1 One is connecting the RB5 to a computer that is on the remote site.
#2 The other is by means of a Ethernet Module model EX-5, that acts as a gateway (TCP/IP <> USB)
